Body Detox Must Be Regular
The process of body detox is all about removing the impurities that have set in the blood tissues, veins and different organs of the body. The food, water and air carry a lot of impurities which enter our immune system to degenerate our health conditions. The immunities start fighting against these foreign agents and resist them as long as the immunity has the stamina to do so. Once these foreign agents become impossible to control for our body, they start spreading all over as toxic waste and contaminate the blood. The same toxic waste gets accumulated in the blood veins and avoids proper blood circulation to the heart and builds up as cholesterol, and also creates malfunctions in the digestive system giving rise to chronic ulcers, gastroenteritis, colon cancer, heart diseases and many other sicknesses.
One of the first signs of improper bowel cleansing is skin rashes. Skin rashes may appear all over the body and there is an itchy sensation which starts from the arms and chest and as we start scratching our skin, the whole body starts becoming red and developing small lumps. There are other signs like foul smelling breath, bad body odor and regular headaches. This calls for complete detoxification of the body. There are many ways to cleanse the system and usually this involves going on a complete liquid diet for one day or even increasing more fiber in the food, eating more raw vegetables, sprouts and fruits.
Initially during the program of body detox it is very important to avoid coffee, tea and soda. Any of these can increase acid levels in the stomach. Starting with regular body detox, you can first go on complete fasting with only drinking water once a week. When the body gets used to this routine, then you can try fasting for three continuous days once every month. During these three days, you must drink a lot of water, sweet lemonade with a pinch of salt will produce good energy levels while cleansing the system and also an occasional orange juice will do some good. While the first day can be only on water and lemonade, the second day can be included with frequent fruit juices and the third day, you can include fruits only once a day keeping yourself sufficient with liquid intake. You can also drink one glass of buttermilk in the night before sleep.
It is important to break your fast with dry fruits as they will build up energy. Even a few pieces of almonds and cashews are enough. Then slowly you move on to build up the quantity of natural food and then cooked food for lunch. You can maintain this cycle on a regular basis. Maintaining regular diet of fiber, carbohydrates and raw vegetables, fruits and sprouts in between days of fasting will ensure a cleaner system and will purify the blood. Regular exercising and yoga is very good to support body detox. Yoga and pranayama help to regulate the hormonal secretions and support energy levels on days of fasting.
