How To Do Colon Cleansing
We all have a habit of eating all sorts of junk food which prove harmful to our immune system. The oil, salt and other products used in these food outlets are not the best quality and we never know what kind of impurities set into the food to harm our metabolism. Even at home when we cook food we have a habit of using excess oil which can create cholesterol. There are other problems also associated with accumulation of toxic waste. The first is untimely eating. The body gets used to the biological clock which is programmed according to our habits. Once we fall out of that “pattern” the immune system goes for a toss which is why we need to do regular colon cleansing.
The colon cleansing is very easy to follow only if you are willing to maintain discipline and routine. Just as we eat our lunch and dinner at particular hours, we should also maintain routines for colon cleansing which can be done once a week or even every fortnight. In between the major cleansing schedule we can include certain ingredients in the food which can help us maintain a healthy bowel movement. We must ensure that we defecate regularly. The first way to improve the bowel movement is by drinking a lot of water on empty stomach every morning. You can also start with mixing two tablespoons of honey and lemon juice in one cup of water and drink it in empty stomach first thing after brushing your teeth. This will make sure you have a good defecation.
Apart from regular eating of outside food, you must ensure to bring in a routine of raw vegetables, sprouts and fresh fruits. One diet of salad and sprouts of different kinds will ensure that your colon is getting cleansed regularly and also the energy levels in the body remain high. This will increase stamina as fiber improves blood circulation by purifying it. Apart from following a routine of fresh natural and nutritious food, you can do regular exercises and yoga.
Fasting once a week with only water is very good for the colon. This will wash out all the toxins. When you break your fast the next morning, start with small amounts of dry fruits and after a few hours drink milk or fruit juice and slowly start including solids. The first few times of bowel movement will bring excrete semi-liquid stool for some people. This is a very good way to maintain a healthy digestive system also. There are very good techniques of yogic cleansing methods which can be followed every weekend or fortnight. These techniques of cleansing also ensure a healthy intestine, duodenum, and overall a healthy digestive system and excretory system. The practice involves something similar to enema which is to suck in water through the anus up to the intestine and then slowly excreting it out. This has to be done under proper and expert guidance. The other method is drinking lukewarm saltwater early morning and then performing yogic exercises for free bowel movement which will ensure release of toxic waste.
